Purple Goanna – the only purple patch in Redfern

Purple Goanna is a café located in Redfern offering a unique twist on bush tucker. We call it Modern Australian – creating meals using traditional Aboriginal Australian meats, spices and fruits, and then fusing it with today’s cuisine.

If you have ever wondered what crocodile curry tastes like … or marinated kangaroo loin fillet – then you need to come pay us a visit and let them taste buds explore.

Purple Goanna also caters for events, get togethers and functions at very reasonable prices.

• Monday to Friday 6am to 6pm
• Saturday & Sunday 8am to 4pm
