GunnaWannaBe provides a series of Educational Immersion Packages which can be delivered progressively to students as they progress from kindergarten through to year 12.
Starting with fun activities such as food tasting, touching and smelling the plants and spices in kindergarten, the packages become in-depth as the student develops.

Native Food and Medicines Module Outline
1. Years: this module is for students in years 1-3
2. Outline:the different regional food and medicines will be discussed, experienced by viewing and using samples collected locally and with those brought by GunnaWannaBe. At the end of the day there will be a cooking demonstration using bush foods and spices.
3. Outcomes: by the end of this module students will be able to:
Identify the use of the bush foods that were available to Aboriginal people
Make children aware of the plants that grow around the Bundjalung area

This module will address the following curriculum areas
4.1 Aboriginal Culture
Appreciates the origin and use of local medicines used by Aborigial people
Understanding of local Indigenous plants and their uses in traditional food and medicine
4.2 Aboriginal Science and Technology
Use of Medicine plants in Aboriginal societies
Preperation of native medicines
